The Hanging Gardens is a totally inclusive space – events in our venue cater to everybody in the community. From talks on astro-physics to sewing groups, Welsh language clubs to arts and crafts for learning-impaired young adults, there is something for everyone.

Come down and join our incomparable Compere Mike Halls for a special night showcasing local talent.

MONDAY SEWING GROUP
Mondays 2pm - 4pm
Come and join in, we need help to create decorated squares of fabric to celebrate Summer, swifts and bloom. Squares can be sewn or painted. We have lots of donated fabric available.

CREATIVE PARENT & TODDLERS

Our Creative Parent's Group is starting this Friday.
Free creative workshops for parents and toddlers will be available Friday mornings in the cafe space. Lauren will be running workshops in textiles, art and crafts which will be available to parents alongside Karen who will be giving creative sessions for 2-4 year olds. Younger children are welcome but need to be supervised by parents.

Naomi is a keen birdwatcher and has held the role of BTO rep for Cardiganshire since 2019. As part of their role, they organise the core and species-specific surveys for the county, including heronries census, BBS, and promoting ad-hoc bird recording through Bird Track. Naomi is a C permit ringer and focuses on recording nesting pied flycatchers, and mist-netting for migrants at Cors Dyfi reserve.
Naomi’s talk will cover the work of the BTO in Wales, what surveys are available to get involved with and how you can make your birdwatching count wherever you are!
£3 entry fee, under 18s are free. Everyone is welcome, members and non-members. There is also a raffle, £1 for a ticket. Please bring a prize if you are able to.
