Celebration and learning about Welsh local food: Talk from Carwyn Graves, author, public speaker and gardener from Wales. Author of the bestselling Apples of Wales (2018) and Welsh Food Stories. Food from Rockup Kitchen Ethically sourced, locally grown, lovingly prepared nutritious treats to soothe the soul. Menu: Amuse Bouche Local Bread with Celeriac & Apple Soup (Allergens – celery & gluten) Mains: All served family style with locally-sourced fermented slaw, winter kale salad & stwnsh pys. 1.Fish Supper (gf) (Allergens – fish, mustard & dairy) 2.Llanidloes Hogget Cawl, Faggot Dumplings with Welsh Rarebit (Allergens – egg, celery, gluten, dairy) 3.Stuffed Gourd (vg) Stuffed with a rich blend of mushrooms, beans, peas & tomatoes Desserts: 1.Honey Cake with Pumpkin Custard (gf) (Allegens – dairy & egg) 2.Traditional Marrow Tart (vg)
